Tim and his crew did a great job on our yard. We purchased our new home a year ago, and were finally ready to do something with the yard space. Tim listened to what we wanted and helped create a simple but nice layout for out yard. Tim told us when his crew would be out it would take them 4 or 5 days to complete the project. His crew was professional, hard working and even with some rain in the forecast still managed to get it done in 5 days! We had new sod, a sprinkler system, french drain and dry riverbed, several flower beds and a 2nd patio all installed, and it looks awesome. Tim was easy to communicate with throughout the project, always checking in to make sure we were happy with the job being done. I would recommend Tim and his crew for any projects that you need! ~ John M

From start to finish working with Veterans was the best choice we could have made. Tim came out and helped us bring our vision to life. By the time our project was complete, I felt like I was talking to a buddy when I talked to Tim. Every person that did work at our house worked their tails off and did amazing work. We had a driveway extension, retaining wall, deck extension, screened in porch, roof extension, paver patio, and grill gazebo all built. They did beautiful work and did me a huge favor by leveling the dirt they pulled out for the patio so I could build my son a play area. I can’t say enough good things about this place other than don’t look any further. You’ve found who you want to do the work. Trust me. Veteran's Landscaping built us a beautiful, rock solid 15X15 foot paver patio with a custom fire pit, and then covered our 16 X 20 deck with a roof that complimented our home's roof. It was done quickly, cleanly and the workmanship was beautiful. The deck was so reinforced that we'll probably go underneath it the next time the tornado siren goes off. Tim, the foreman is very professional, he kept us informed as the project was taking place. It is very obvious that they take great pride in the work they do. My husband and I would highly recommend them to anyone. In fact, by word of mouth alone, they will have done five different jobs in our neighborhood of 42 homes. We used Veterans for a massive backyard project that included tree removal, grading, multiple retaining walls, concrete work, plunge pool installation, covered outdoor kitchen space, and sod installation. This was a massive backyard overhaul and the professionalism from every person at Veterans was well above expectations. They not only provided options and suggestions during the process, but they were more than happy to accommodate changes mid project and adapt to what we wanted. Communication was key with Veterans and we never felt out of the loop. Lastly, price was extremely competitive and the work was certainly worth the amount we paid. Veterans just finished replacing a large, old, failing retaining wall at the end of our sloping driveway. Estimate was fair and quite similar to others solicited locally. Tim, the estimator, took significant time making thorough measurements of the needs and was friendly and professional every time. The hard-working crew was completely devoted to giving us the best possible outcome, which they did. The job took much of a 6-day workweek and the crew cleaned up each day before departing. The finished wall is just what we were hoping for, with no caveats. It was truly a pleasure, from start to finish. ~ David P

We hired Veteran's Landscaping to repair damage from Hurricane Helene, which resulted in quite an involved project (multiple tree removals and stump grinding, construction of 2 retaining walls, a concrete pad for a new shed and constructing the shed itself, wood fencing, and pouring a new concrete driveway to replace a lifted asphalt one). All the work was done in a logical order minimizing impact to our household, and was completed very fast once our time came up in their work queue. All the workers were friendly and skilled in their respective trades, and Tim, our sales rep. and project manager, was great to work with, considering our project did have to change a couple of times, requiring requotes, etc. He was also frequently onsite at critical times, and made sure the work met his expectations, as well as ours. Overall it was a great experience working with Veteran's Landscaping & Construction, and we will give them future work without hesitation. ~ Eric G

Veterans Landscaping built a wall between our land and lake. Jason came quickly after our initial phone call. He made me feel at ease with what would be a large project. He coordinated when to start the work with the lake committee. He made everything so easy. The project moved along very quickly and seamlessly. Jason updated me often with the progress. And the wall is absolutely gorgeous. They also made sure that our yard was in excellent condition and everything was put back in place after the project was completed. Do not sleep on hiring Tim and his crew! They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We had terrible grading issues and our backyard was eroding away monthly. We had originally planned on only putting up a wall but after watching the quality workmanship, we decided to add on a pathway. Tim didn’t hesitate to start this extra part of the project, even though we were looking at rain and Easter weekend. That being said, his team worked efficiently but also carefully and purposefully. Chris and his team recently installed 15 pallets of sod in our backyard and they did a superb job. Everyone we interacted with was professional and friendly. Chris's pricing, despite using only the highest grade of Bermuda sod, was very reasonable compared to some other bids we received. He was always quick to respond to questions and proactive about following up after the work was complete to make sure the grass was coming in well and receiving proper irrigation coverage. I would highly recommend him and we plan to hire him again when we execute on some future plans. ~ Matthew J

Chris and his crew did an outstanding job on my mom's patio, walkway and catch basin. She was having major drainage issues and they came in put a catch basin and ran the line out from the walkway. Due to the Covid 19 they had trouble getting certain pavers but they kept working until they found ones mom liked. My dad passed in 2019 he was a Vietnam Veteran. He always wanted him a sit down place by his building and mom and I wanted to do one in memory of Pop and Chris made it happen. Chris & Tim are great guys and they do wonderful work. 5 * from us. Over this past winter we had Jason and the crew install a new garden retaining wall and a new paver walkway down to our house. They did a great job and we were so impressed that we asked them to continue the new design and replace our main entrance steps and landing with the new paver and block design. We are very happy with the work and would highly recommend their company! I called Tim two years ago to look at our yard and we decided to put it off. What I liked about him two years ago was that he was very responsive and not pushy at all. So, this year when we decided to finally do our yard, I knew who to call! Tim and his crew worked so hard for days straight to get our backyard completely redone. This is the second year I've ordered mulch from Veterans Landscaping. I get the double-ground mulch, and it is awesome! I have several large water oaks on the property I am invested in keeping healthy, and Master Arborist Randy Cyr of Greentree in Greenville evaluated the trees and recommended creating beds of mulch around them to provide beneficial nutrients as it breaks down. I ended up ordering almost 20 scoops of mulch last year in three separate deliveries...all were delivered promptly and were a great value (read: I got a lot of mulch for the price). This year I ordered 10 scoops delivered and it was so much mulch I wondered if I accidentally ordered 20 again...Great value! With 10 scoops, I was able to refresh the two large beds I made last year in the front of the house around the oaks- one is 20 feet in diameter and the other 26 feet in diameter- along with three large beds in the back yard and all the beds along the house. Overall, I am really happy with the high quality, clean mulch and great service. Highly recommend. ~ Dane H

I give Veteran’s Landscaping and construction my highest recommendation! The entire process could not have gone better!!! I researched a lot of companies before hiring them, and they greatly exceeded our expectations!!! We had an existing gravel fire pit area, but getting to it from our house was a very steep descent/climb. We worked with Chris to design a beautiful paver and stone pathway, as well as a redo of the existing fire pit area. The estimate he gave us was very reasonable. We had to delay the project due to our neighbors requiring us to survey our property line, so we could get approval by our HOA design board. This delayed the project by about 2 months, but Chris assured me it was no problem. Once approved by our HOA, he got us back on their construction schedule within a few weeks! The actual build had a few rain days, but the crew always cleaned up impeccably! They were so respectful and are truly artists in their work! We could not be happier with the results!!! I thought at first that a company with this many positive reviews must be hiding something, or perhaps it must be propping its own ratings up with fake reviews (something you can see on Amazon item reviews, from time to time)...well, it turns out that the hype is real when it comes to Veterans Landscaping and Construction.Chris Harrell is a real person, and though I can't confirm or deny whether or not he is super-powered (I've never seen one person make so many people *this* happy across the board), I will say that he was responsive, professional, courteous, and timely. Not only that, but he kept in touch with me throughout the entire process, even after it was completed, in case I had any questions. His crew was hard-working, professional, and courteous...and they W-O-R-K. They completed the work in timely manner, and it looks amazing. If I ever need anything else they will be the first and only company I call...I will recommend Veterans to everyone I know from now on. Thanks again Chris!!!!!! ~ Chris C

Chris and his team at Veteran's Landscaping did a magnificent job on our rock paver patio. In the center a 48" firepit with a circular paver design around it. It is beautiful and they were super nice, fast and thorough. Top notch customer service and great communication! It was a pleasure to work with them and I am confident we will get more done around the house. Any services they offer, which are many, are all spot on. Highly recommended!!! Cannot say enough good things about the crew at Veterans Landscaping. Jason our PM came out and we discussed what I was looking for and they got started about a week later. He showed up every day to check in and was always available for questions. The guys that did the work were awesome!
